For
the lucky, we grew up in good
health, with security and
opportunities
ahead, but most importantly, we
grew up with love. For the
fortunate few, we were raised
learning to love and respect our
family, neighbors, teachers and
fellow man. Unfortunately, this
is not a universal truth.
Each day, children are brought
into a world of poverty, a world
of fear, a world of war, a world
without hope, a world of hate.
These children did not choose
this life, but rather they were
thrown into it, at mercy to
their surroundings.
In a day where children live in
constant fear of surviving to
see dinner time, where children
are torn away from their
families to become child
soldiers, where children bear
witness to their mothers and
fathers brutally slaughtered,
where simple necessities like
shelter, food and water are
considered luxury, we ask
ourselves: how can we bring
about peace?
Dance has been used as a form of
expression since humans walked
this earth. From the ancient
civilizations of Mesopotamia and
Summer to the 2007 subways in
NYC, dance provides a way of
expressing thoughts that simply
can not be said.
Dance has the ability to speak
to all regardless of age, gender, religion or culture.
If we can harness this power to spread the message of
peace, imagine the boarders |

that can be crossed, walls that can fall, eyes that can
be opened.
Children are our future. It is
our responsibility to create a
world for them that is better
than ours today. Our intent in
this website is to shed light on
the plight of the children in
today's world with the hopes of
ending this suffering through
dance.
Let’s
spread peace through dance…

We dance for
laughter,
we dance for
tears,
we dance for
madness,
we dance
for
fears,
we dance for
hopes,
we
dance for
screams,
we are the
dancers,
we
create the
dreams |
